My Creative Space

Gloomy snow and rain combined with a sleeping little boy is a wonderful recipe for inside alone time in the studio. I can't bear to waste paint so I used my leftovers to paint some tags I had laying around. They lovingly remind me of my Kindergarten classes last year and how much fun circles can be. I found these monsters yesterday and thought it was such a fantastic idea. Children's artwork is very inspiring and fresh. Oh to be that free! I finally had Micah cut me some shelves for my fabric so I could see it all lined up and know what I have. Once I cleaned that up I was ready for something else. The tidiness never lasts long. More creative spaces here to get your juices flowing.

Mason and I went to story-hour at the library this morning and he did so well! He was especially interested in all the boys and girls sitting near him and loved pointing out their noses. He also thoroughly enjoyed pulling the baby's feet next to him and smiling at her. Oh, and the stories were great too.
Micah has requested I use up the cream cheese he bought in bulk (no surprise there), so tonight I will make this wonderful Lemon Cheesecake and hope for Spring. So good....

So true...the tidyness never lasts long at my place either. Enjoy it while it lasts.

I love the tags. I also found some windows! If you need someone to help you eat that lemon cheesecake...you know where I live :)
